Boo! Trick or Treats

The Taylored Expressions team is sharing fun Halloween treats you can make and share this week, and I had a great time creating! I stay pretty light-hearted about Halloween, so I went with a purple, pink and orange color way. Specifically, I worked with Candy Corn, Lollipop, Dried Fig, and Macaron.

First up, I paired the Tag Treat Wrap with the G-G-G-Ghost Background stamp. The Tag Treat Wrap die cuts the elements to create the quick box and the perfectly aligned tag to layer over the top. The Just Press tool makes this background a breeze, and this gorgeous ink coverage was just one press on the MISTI. The accessory eyes make for cute attitudes on the ghost!

I used the Boo Script die with Sugar Cube cardstock and TE Sticky Sheets to foil the little boo script and layered the glimmer sentiment on Dried Fig cardstock. This is a very easy process:

1) expose one side of the Sticky Sheet and apply to the Sugar Cube cardstock.

2) Peel the 2nd liner sheet from the Sticky Sheet to expose the sticky side and apply foil. TIP: Peel the liner from the Sticky Sheet starting in one corner and press the foil at the same time you are peeling away the liner for a smooth application.

3) Die cut as desired for glittery goodness!

Next up, I created some sour cream treat containers with Gone Batty and Unicorn Mist. These are the easiest treat container you will ever make!

It’s simply a 5″ x 5″ square of stamped TE Gel Printing Paper that I added the decorative edging to each side, sprayed with the mist, allowed to dry, rolled into a tube and then crimped in perpendicular directions at the ends. So easy! Change the dimensions to make these any size you want! Tip: Fill with small treats before you glue the 2nd end closed.

Finally, I pulled a few extras together to make a coordinating card. I added the Spider Web Foil It for an easy backdrop. The vibrant colors keep it playful and perfect for anyone!

Hope you enjoyed the Halloween treat ideas! I can’t wait to check out the rest of the team’s creations!

One more bit of cuteness to share: The Haunted Mansion Cutting Plate is back by popular demand! It’s available for purchase, while supplies last! Happy Creating!
