It’s my birthday month, and Taylored Expressions, is coincidentally celebrating with a birthday themed release this week! So many fun things in store for TE fans this month. It’s going to be aMAYzing. Let’s PARTY!
You’ll love this release to celebrate milestone birthdays, anniversaries, and celebrations! Here I have paired a few previously released Stamp Joy favorites to create a super fun birthday card. The Party Vibes background stamp and Treat Yo Self sentiments make fast and cute cards for all ages. Here, I’ve added accents from the adorable new All Around Birthday – stamped in Jelly Donut and cut with the single pass die. They make a great accent for the Open Scallop Die that is set on a simple vellum layer. I’ve added silver Glitter Drops to the Cookie Monster and Jelly Donut palette.
Next up, I paired the same Party Vibes background with Treat Yo Self and the Just a Number dies with Backers to the Frame in Frame dies to create a cute shaker card. I have some special birthdays coming up in my family, including my daughter who turns an unbelievable 23 in a few weeks! The Building Blocks – Milestones stamp and die combination are a great little add-on to kick things up a notch!
My shaker is filled with little bits cut from the All Around – Birthday, Snow Flurries sequins and Sparkly Stars to create fun shimmer and shake.
My last two cards feature the Birthday Balloons Stencil and Die combo. This is fun to create backdrop balloons or stand-alone balloons that will hold a big milestone number cut from the Just a Number dies and backer dies. The Swirls Pierce and Cut plate makes a sweet backdrop. Notice the texture that is accentuated by the balloons blended through the stencil with my TE Blender Brushes. Finally, I used the new Rounded Rectangle and Rounded Rectangle Ridged Stacklets to create a fun frame.
My youngest daughter turns 21, also in a few weeks. I can’t believe how fast the time has gone. Being the girls’ mom is my greatest joy. This card is for her. I love the Sugar Cube inked stars with the blended balloon. Such a fun, transparent look!
My colors for this card are Cookie Monster, Jelly Donut, Plum Punch, and Passion Fruit, but the TE palette makes creating in any combination of colors fun and easy. Can’t wait to see what you design!
