Even with the anxiety that I mentioned in my last post, there are benefits to the new school year. 🙂 One of them is time for the SCS challenges on a regular basis!
Here is today’s sketch challenge. I enjoyed the sketch, and I love how I was able to make the tag stamp from Holy Triptych work on the individual pieces of Saffron. Behind the diamond, the Saffron pieces are actually 1 1/2″ x 2 1/8″. Put together, they create a nice background element on the So Saffron layer.Â

Stamps: Holy Triptych
-
Cardstock: Pomegranate, Saffron, Chocolate and Watercolor (SU!)
-
Ink: Timber Brown StazON, various inks for watercolor
-
Accs: Mini Gold Brads, Pomegranate Stitched ribbon (sponged with Saffron ink to take the white out), Corner Ticket Punch and AquaPainter. I did touch up a few areas with my Sukura Clear StarDust pen to give the gifts and crowns a little shimmer.
Thanks for looking!
