I see Christmas Morning on the horizon! Joy to the World!
This is a card that I created last night while my daughters and I were watching Christmas movies and wrapping gifts in the office. I used a 3×4 Christmas Watercolor Panel from Taylored Expressions that I had colored last month when I had a crafty day with Jami.
After I had watercolored, I used an XPress It Glue Pen to add adhesive and transparent glitter to the dove wings. I also used green XPress It Glitter Deco Tape from Imagination International as an accent to the card base. Watercolor can totally stand alone on a project, but the shimmer of the glitter in both places adds a little punch!
Here is a 2nd project I did last night… I’ve been anxious to make a few things with the Weary World set from Verve, too! (Apparently many of you like this set as much as I do because when I went to grab a link I see it is temporarily sold out.)
Again, because there are 10 colors in the package, I used the blue Glitter Deco Tape as an accent. Here I put it though the Big Shot and cut it with the coordinating star die.
The tape is only 6mm wide, but the beauty of this glitter product is that it’s smooth and fine grit glitter, so you can lay pieces of it side by side and not see the seam. There are 3 short rows of tape, side-by-side, to cut this star! I just adhere them to a piece cardstock and then die cut.
We are off to go caroling with some friends in a few minutes. The temps are mild here but the wind is crazy… I hope we don’t blow away with the Christmas cheer!
