Big ole stampin’ rodeo going on over at Splitcoaststampers this weekend… Virtual Stamp Night! Lots and lots of challenges and chatter to feed your creativity. Yee-haw!
I’m in Oklahoma City for a Copic certification, but I adore the rodeo theme for this set of challenges, and I had to make a card for this first challenge called, these boots are made for walking….
I love wearing cowboy boots…I always have. I got this pair last fall…they are a pretty chestnut brown.
At any rate…for this card, I used a beautiful new set from Taylored Expressions, Embrace Beauty. Silhouettes make for fast and easy stamping. I stitched the main image to the Spellbinders Fleur-di-lis die and added some stitching to the background panel. The background papers are from the Victoria collection by Echo Park.
Hope you get a chance to craft this weekend. I’ll be home by noon tomorrow, and I’m going to sneak in a few hours of stamping. I’ll let you know if I come up with anything fun. Have a good one!
