New Creation

Behold if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old had gone, the new has come!   2 Corinthians 5:17

Good morning! Taylor whipped up a darling little sketch for the Taylored Expressions sketch challenge this week, and I knew I wanted to focus on Easter.

Palm Sunday to Easter is the most special week of the year, in my opinion. Today, Friday is certainly a painful day to recount and remember Christ’s death on the cross, but behold! Sunday is coming, and a new life is gifted to all who believe. Two-thousand years later, and it’s still the most amazing story ever told.

I used the flower and butterfly images from Summer Afternoon, and the beautiful scripture promise (I love the fonts in this set!) from Rest and Renewal. The creamy and white floral patterned paper is from Making Memories, and the dotted robin egg blue is from Cosmo Cricket’s Mitten Weather. Kraft, of course, for the base and a white flower finish it off.

You wanna get sketchy with us? You will be able to get all of the info for Sketch 137 both in the SCS TE Forum and on Taylor’s blogYou are NOT required to use TE stamps to play, but there’s a bonus prize available if you do! Do you want to get sketchy? Share your creations with us in the Splitcoaststampers gallery using keywords:  tayloredexpressions, TESC137 (be sure to use a comma and then a space between each of the keywords as shown).

We’ve got two new players with the Sketch Crew this week, so make sure you check out the samples. I’ve had  a sneak peek, and they are fabulous!

Happy Easter!
