Flower in the Sun…

Three days in a row…I hope my blog doesn’t start smoking. 🙂

Lovin’ the Dare to Get Dirty challenges this week! Here’s another card I made for a challenge hosted by Sharon (you will need to be a member of the Fan Club to see the link).  Lots of fun being had by Fan Club members at Splitcoaststampers. Hope you find time to check it out – now thru Friday!

With a little crafty time behind me, I’m off to brown 25 pounds of hamburger for my daughters’ swim team picnic tonight. I suggested taco salad so no dads would have to slave over the grill mid-July. What was I thinking???

  • Stamps: Discover Your Wings and Summer Afternoon – Taylored Expressions
  • Ink: Berry Chalk – Clearsnap
  • Paper: Kraft and Blush Red Dark – Prism
  • Accs: crinkle ribbon (a gift from my sweet friend, Sharon), MayaRoad pins and Nestabilities

  1. This card is gorgeous Lori. I love how you used a bolder color but made it look soft. Good luck with all that hamburger. You should have volunteered to bring the taco sauce!

  2. Beautiful card. Has a very serene feel to it too.

  3. WOOHOO girl – you are sizzling!!! I love this gorgeous pink and white card – beautiful flowers and the sentiment is gorgeous!!!

  4. Ha ha, I like taco salads better, but I think I’d have let the guys slave over the grills – you’re a better woman than I, my friend!!! Your card is so pretty, Lori. The background is so soft, then the flowers just POP! Love it! Great job!

  5. Just popped in to say hi! LOVE this card. 🙂

  8. So pretty and such a nice sentiment too. 🙂
