Imagine…

Here’s a ‘stamped for fun’ card that I worked on this week. It was so fun. About 2 years ago, I received a card (that I have lost and cannot remember who sent it to me) that featured this stunning grid work on the main panel. Then, this spring, Beate created a tutorial to show how easy this Grid Technique is in a Weekly Inkling tutorial. (Do you get your Inkling weekly? ;)) Solid images work will for this technique, so I pulled out Kim Hughes, Silhouette Blooms.

I have been intrigued by so many of the beautiful butterfly projects that I have been seeing lately. I hope that this black beauty is the perfect accent.

  • Stamps: Silhouette Blooms, Everday Petites – both from Cornish Heritage Farms
  • Cardstock: Super Smooth White Prism, Black Prism and Baby Blue Frost Prism
  • Ink: Aspen Mist VersaMagic Chalk & Black Adirondack
  • Accs: WeRMemory Keepers hardware, Making Memories ribbon, Scor-Pal, Martha Stewart butterfly punch and black glitter, paper piercing template and piercer, Nestabilities and tag die by Spellbinders

Beate is BACK! I’ll be here bright and early tomorrow morning with my take on her weekly sketch. It’s been a wonderfully long summer, and we’re excited to get back in action. See you in the morning!
