So very excited…

Yesterday afternoon brought a car drive home with 2 noisy, restless little girls, a car to unpack and clean up after 3 days of rambling around the state (all the while Wes spent the same 3 days hunting with his friends) … and 2 very exciting phone calls welcoming me to the Cornish Heritage Farms design team after I submitted to their Fresh Faces call.

 I am so very excited and honored to join the current design team who I hold in high esteem on this venture. A special thank you to Richard, Liz and Lisa for allowing me this wonderful opportunity.

Congratulations to the other 9 ladies selected in this design team call. I am looking forward to getting to know and working with each of them!

Soon, very soon I am going to get some more Brilliance Pearlescent Ink Pads so I can stop using the Chocolate on everything…LOL! This is stamped on Shimmery Vanilla Cardstock and then gone over with a Sukura Clear Stardust Gelly pen. The trick with the pen is to touch it very lightly to areas you want to highlight (in this case: snow covered rooftop, windows and lamps) and then smudge the ink every so lightly to remove the actual ‘pen’ lines. Another trick that steps your card up a notch is to double layer the main panel with the same color of cardstock as your card base. You can see that in the far lower left corner of this second picture.
