Cowboy Party Favor

I used the Outlaw Paper, Wanted and Think Happy Thoughts to make a little tag for this cowboy themed party favor. The circle images in the paper are perfectly sized to work with the SU! punches and the paper takes ink wonderfully. I’ve used some HodgePodge Hardware and dyed Elizabeth fibers to dress this up.

Adhering designer paper to chipboard is easier than you might think. Easy to follow instructions on the next page.

  1.  figure out what portion of your designer paper you want to show on the front of your finished project

  2. put the chip board flat on the backside of the designer paper in that same spot and trace lightly with a pencil

  3. cut the paper image out with scissor or straight blade

  4. stamp any embellishment to the designer paper front piece

  5. cover the entire piece of chip board and back side of the designer paper with acid-free glue stick – it is important that every surface spot is coated on both pieces, prevents bubbling

  6. press the chip board and the designer paper together and roll with a brayer or rub with a flat wood block to work out the bubbles

  7. embellish with ribbons, hardware, accent stamped images, etc.
