Deuteronomy 7:7-8

“For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land – a land with streams and pools of water, with springs flowing in the valleys and hills; a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees (close to cocoa), pomegranates, olive oil and honey (so saffron)”

The passage was timely because it discusses the provision of the LORD, and not to forget that He alone provides for our needs. How often do I want things in MY time, MY way.

This color scheme jumped out at me while I was reading, and I stamped the next day. I couldn’t wait to have time to put the pieces together, and Roxie’s sketch challenge at SCS worked well for what I had worked out. Love it when that happens!

This set features Baroque Motifs and the Cocoa, Pomegranate, Saffron and Old Olive color scheme. I stamped the large star point motif using the stamp-a-ma-jig to line the points up. It was so easy! Honest, this was my one and only attempt. Then I stamped the Paisley BG using the Pomegranate ink on the same color of cardstock. A few vintage brads and some of that luscious Chocolate Crinkle ribbon from the Flirty Ribbon collection, and I was done. Boy, I sure do hope that ribbon shows up in the catalog next week. I just LOVE it. Notice I only use about 2-3 inces at a time, tucked into a longer piece of Chocolate grosgrain. I am pretty stingy with it! LOL!

I need to finish (ok…start) packing for a little trip I am taking. Rest assured ~ I have been busy creating stuff to post while I am gone. You won’t even miss me, and when I get back, we’ll have new catalog toys from the Fall Collection. Thanks for stopping by.
