Can you say ‘woo-hoo for new rubbah!’ Great sketch challenge from Roxie over at SCS this morning. Fun, fun, fun to pair her sketch with my new stuff!
This card showcases the new Baroque Motif set that is available for demos to pre-order NOW! You will be able to purchase come July 1 when that great, big, full of new rubbah catalog is rolled out! WOO-HOO!
Colors are Pomegranate and Chocolate Chip. Any hint of shimmer you see on the photo comes from this gorgeous Shimmery Vanilla cardstock that I have come across. I paired them all with the AuChocolat paper from the SU! Spring Mini (note to self: stock up on the Spring Mini papers in case they are gone forever after June 30).
I don’t know if it is me, my imagination or the new stuff, but my new rubber seems to be accepting the new inks incredibly well! I would normally use the stamp-a-ma-jig on the larger flowers for repeat impressions to get the thick look I wanted. These were my first 2 flowers ever stamped with this set. Hmmm, any others with the new stuff have feedback?
The ribbon is a very good match, and you can get some from the Sassy & Sweet Shop! I didn’t check to verify if it’s in stock, but the color is Red Wine and the quality is fabulous – very smooth, satin-like.
I’m late for an appointment, and my oldest has a swim meet today….so much stamping to do, so little time. Thanks for looking!
