HAPPY BIRTHAY, TAYLORED EXPRESSIONS

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TAYLORED EXPRESSIONS!

Happy Birthday to one of my favorite crafty companies! Happy Birthday, Taylored Expressions! 14 YEARS we’ve been celebrating amazing crafty goodness and innovative ideas to make crafting easier and FUN! So many fun things to share today! You are in for a treat! All of the products I’m sharing today are linked at the bottom of this post for easy browsing in the TE store.

First thing, I’m sharing a fun birthday bundle made with one of my favorite products of the release! The Get Thready Bundle for only $49!

When I was in the first grade my class made a tapestry wall hanging with burlap and yarn. I chose a Mickey Mouse pattern, and I LOVED that project! I loved learning to stitch on the fabric, and I really loved the way the thick yarn popped off of the burlap. I remember giving it to my grandma as a Mother’s Day gift. Such a sweet first memory that I have of working with textile art.

This card today is a nod to that creative adventure so many years ago. I used the TE Burlap Background on Toffee cardstock with the Get Thready: Sunburst Cutting Plate and the Bold Birthday Greetings. And, full circle to memories of my grandma, I pulled some embroidery thread from her collection that now lives in my craft closet.

To create the sentiment, I blended Mulled Wine, Cherry Pop, Candy Corn, and Pineapple Premimum Inks on Sugar Cube Cardstock, and then cut the words with the Bold Birday Die. I cut the Bold Birthday Backer from Sugar Cube Cardstock and layered the two together. The whole panel is framed with Frame-in-Frame Scallopes Die cut from Sugar Cube.

If you’d love to Get Thready with TE – Right now through Sunday, September 18th, purchase the Get Thready Bundle  that includes Get Thready – Sunburst Cutting Plate die, Bold Birthday die, Bold Birthday Backer die, 4 colors of embroidery floss, 4 floss bobbins, and tapestry needle) and get access to the LIVE class on Facebook (Friday, September 23 at 7:00pm) with Taylor (If you aren’t able to attend the class live, a replay will be available to view afterwards)! In this exciting virtual class, you’ll learn how to use the Get Thready – Sunburst Cutting Plate die using all of Taylor’s tips and tricks! Get Thready Bundle available while supplies last.

It wouldn’t be a birthday without a great stash of birthday cards, so I used the new Triple Slim Celebrate Stencils and Happy Hooray Dies to create my next card! I love the way the TE Premium Inks layer on this card to create the illusion of transparency on the balloons.

The TE colors used here: Plum Punch, Lollipop, Passion Fruit, and Jelly Donut. Not my normal go-to with the pinks and purples, but I do love the bright pops of color!

Here’s a second card I created with the Triple Slim – Celebrate Stencils and the Triple Slim Celebrate Foil It cards. So quick, easy, and classy. That’s my kind of stamping!

Next up, I got a little punny business going on with the new Bun-derful Birthday! Shells… buns… both a conduit to goodness! Inhale tacos, exhale negativity!

I used the Triple Slim Celebrate Stencil to create the green confetti background, and my tacos are colored with OLO Marker then cut with the coordinating dies. I put everything together with a layer cut from Mini Slim Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets.

Last but not least today, I’ve got a fun infinity shaker card using the Big Birthday Foil It Acetate sheets (that I simply run through my Minc laminator for beautiful results). I layered that over a sponged stripe background in rainbow colors, sprinkled some confetti-made-easy that was cut from the Confettie Maker cutting plate and put the whole stack inside an A2 Infinity Shaker Panel.

All of the birthday goodies are LIVE in the Taylored Expressions store! I can’t wait to see what you choose and create with your favorite products from this release! Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday to YOU, Taylored Expressions! Thank you for 14 years of fun memories, and here’s to many more years of creative fun!
