New Blender Stencils from Taylored Expressions

Very excited to be sharing a brand new product this morning from Taylored Expressions – in collaboration with my friend, Laurie Willison! If you do any kind of ink blending, you’ll love these stencil masks for basic shapes that allow for beautiful one-layer cards!

In collaboration with my friend Laurie Willison, Taylored Expressions is releasing 4 shapes today for blending stencil backgrounds: ovals (as show on my God of Hope card above), circles, squares and rectangles.

I know Laurie has a 2nd video to share and show on her blog. You can find that HERE.

For this first card above, I used:

The stencils layover the cardstock for clean, open space without tape or tack to keep your paper from movement with potential rips or smudges. There are also centers for inking outside the frame. Genius!

Here I’ve used the ovals again, and I just couldn’t get over how easy simple cards for the men in my life will be from here on out. Loved this oval with sentiments, anchored by a simple die cut.

As a release special, Taylor is offering all four sets of stencils in a release bundle at special pricing with a free roll of purple masking tape – the best kind that won’t rip or peel your paper!  The free tape offer is valid through October 27!

For the Rise Up card above, I used:

This last card features one of my favorite techniques we taught at the Taylored Expressions Stamp Joy event a few weeks ago – on stamp blending with the pineapple and honey inks on the background stamp. This particular background stamp leaves a circle opening, and I used the new circle stencil to blend a background in the white space. This might be my favorite. On this card, I used:

I’m so excited about this project. Lots of wonderful crafty goodness today with the TE Team and special friends of Laurie! Be sure to check them out below. I’ll be back tomorrow and Thursday with more inspiration and some step-by-steps of how I’ve used these awesome stencils!

See you tomorrow with more fun projects!
