Thrilled to be sharing a few projects today featuring a new set available tomorrow from Taylored Expressions called All is Bright. I was immediately drawn to the lantern because I have several decorated lanterns here at home that I love to switch around for the seasons.
I paired the Shine Bright lantern with Fall Florals and toasty warm colors. The Buffalo Plaid background makes a fun fall blanket look. Colors used here are mushroom (lantern) and toffee (buffalo plaid) with toffee, mocha, candy corn, pumpkin and pineapple on the leaves and acorns.
Next, I knew I’d love the Holiday Florals just as much, and I paired my 2nd All is Bright lantern with the Subway Tiles embossing folder (on Poppy cardstock with Snow ink sponged across the panel).
This one was extra fun because I spritzed my lantern with Liquid Watercolor Shimmer (mixed in a little mister bottle), and then I cut a 2nd window of clear acetate for the lantern opening. So fun.
