Blessed Acorn (and Copic Class news!)

Here’s a card that mixes two beautiful mediums… I stamped the acorn on watercolor paper, applied Copic Markers with small dots and dabs to create shadow and depth and followed that up with a water color wash using Distress Markers. Very fun…

Tip: Always apply your Copic Marker work first to avoid damage to your marker nibs. Then apply other mediums over the top of that work.

I am heading to Virginia tomorrow for a set of certification classes! Looking forward to meeting more people who are crazy about coloring as I am. 🙂 Really looking forward visiting a friend in the area, too! 😉

You can see our full Copic class calendar here. If we are coming to a location near you, and you have any interest in taking classes with one of our instructors, please don’t pass up the opportunity!  We are working on our curriculum for 2015, and it is that it’s going to be a very exciting year with new locations! Hope to see you soon!

  1. Hi Lori. I like the look on the acorn with the combo markers. I’ll have to try it. I’ve been practicing my Copic coloring lately and I think it’s coming along. A couple of my latest projects look pretty good, LOL. Have fun in your travels and stay safe.
