Copic Whimsical Faces and Alternative Hair

Two weeks ago, I took my daughter’s class on a field trip, and we saw a girl with G04 colored hair. It was so bright! The next day, I took my Copics on the road to a Dallas Copic Workshop where I had a request for more alternative or non-traditional hair color ideas, so I put together a few options here on this sweet Saturated Canary image.

I would simply encourage you to experiment with some of your go-to basic blending combos and find your own favorites. That’s really all I’ve done here. I’m always partial to the BGs… 😉

We are receiving great feedback on the Copic Color and Ink Workshops, including Whimsical Faces and Hair. So fun to teach, as well. Find the full class schedule HERE. I’ll be in Hanover, MD this weekend. Faces and Hair is full, but we still have open seating in the Airbrushing for Papercrafters class. Check the calendar and see if we’ll be in your area anytime soon. We’d love to see you!

I am on the waiting list for the class you are teaching tomorrow at Arundel Mills. How can I find out it there is room in the class?

  2. I LOVE your hair color idea! I struggle with the “different” colors, so your illustration is fantastic! Thanks!

  3. Love the hair color chart. I have that same stamp and I think it’s the cutest! Thank you for putting these colors together! (Definitely works with all the different hair colors everyone is wearing these days!) *smiles*
