Miss Amazing

So, for me there are a lot of things that are amazing about paper crafting. I love keeping busy with my hands and feeling creative whether I have 10 minutes at my desk or 4 hours (rarely). I love the spirit of sharing and sense of community. I love working in an industry that I’m passionate about and interested in. And, I treasure the friendships I’ve made with some amazing women.

One such Miss Amazing is celebrating a big THIRTIETH birthday today.

We’ve shared a lot of good times over the last five years, and I have some wonderful memories, but this is one of my all-time-favorite Taylor Van Bruggen photos. This is Taylor and her mom, Miss Linda (also Miss Amazing) at Summer CHA 2009 in Orlando. They were hitching a ride with us in the Splitcoast-Mobile. Can you imagine 2 six foot girls in the hatchback? Taylor is always up for fun and wearing a smile. Love that!

Another thing I love is watching friends chase their dreams. I’ve enjoyed watching Taylor build and follow her dream over the last 5-6 years from her first few uploads at Splitcoaststampers to the whisper that she wanted her own company to Taylored Expressions – one of my favorite shopping spots. I love people with gumption, and if you’re looking for it, Taylor’s your girl!

So, happy, happy Taylor! Here’s to another fabulous decade of chasing dreams and celebrating friendships, with much love to you! Happy Birthday!
