Holiday Hoopla

Taylored Expressions is hosting a Holiday Hoopla today, and I’m excited to be a part of it. I’m sharing  a sample made with Winter Wonderland today. This set is a favorite of mine because of the beautiful snow flakes and the swirling scripty font of the sentiments.

I wanted to try Colorless Blender Bleaching with my Copic marker ink refills, my air compressor and these pretty snowflakes. Easy way to create a striking background. You can find a full, easy, video tutorial for this technique here at Splitcoast. This would be an awesome one-sheet-wonder technique, and the best thing is that you can make it work for any color scheme by selecting the colors you love.

The colors I used here are B23, B02, BV04. They are sprayed on the glossy cardstock with the airbrush system and then stamped with colorless blender. The darker blue flakes are stamped with Blueberry dye ink from Clearsnap.

Several of my favorite Christmas projects from the last few years were created with Taylored Expressions stamps. Here is a little caroling book that I made several years ago for my girls. It was so fun to use these as we went to our neighbors singing and delivering treats. So fun!
