About a week or so ago, I got an envelope in the mail from Beate. What can I say, she spoils me?! She sent me this darling little Whiff of Joy image, ‘Henry Mouse with Christmas Bauble‘ image and some sweet Echo Park papers. I love Katharina at Whiff of Joy, and I’m a big Echo Park fan…so when I read the note and it said, “Make something, or else!!” (Just kidding, the note was sweet!) I knew I’d have no problem complying. I found out she sent the same envelope to Jenn. What fun!
Henry is stamped on Copic Xpress Blending Card and colored with Copic Markers, cut with Spellbinders Label 9. I love Henry’s orange Splitcoaststampers ornament. He’s getting ready to hang it on the tree. 🙂 Adornments are Zva Creative rhinestones and random buttons.
About a week or so ago, I mentioned on Facebook that I was ‘sew over’ my ‘sew mini’ sewing machine. I was having a terrible time with it. I decided that the problem was in the way my bobbins were winding new thread on them. Finally, in desperation mode to finish some publication work, I brought out my other sewing machine (for fabric ONLY – never paper shall touch! – I have officially turned into my mother). I wound new bobbins and tried that out. Worked beautifully. Now me and the ‘sew mini’ are back in love. I’m a happy stamper.
