In a JiFFy: Thanks a bunch!

It’s that time when I team up with my girlfriends and create a card that is just for fun! One person selects a patterned paper, and another selects a stamped image for each of us to use. It’s a lot of fun to see what everyone comes up with. We call it the JiFFy challenge. My partners in crime are: Michele Boyer, sweet Carole Burrage, Julie Campbell, Kim Hughes, Alli Miles and joining us this month, Glenda Wyatt.

This month Kim Hughes selected the stamp set, and it was so fun to see something that was just her cute and whimsy style! We used Monkey Gone Bananas from Your Next Stamp. Alli Miles sent snippets of a pretty  patterned paper to use from Fancy Pants, Tradition “brrr”.  I was pretty nervous at first, but I ended up with just the right clean and simple card I needed this week for a male friend. So YAY! for me! The light green card base is from Memory Box.

I colored my images with Copic Marker (E44, E51, YG93, YG95 and YR31). Pure color with little to no streaking is what first drew me to Copic Markers, and it was fun to ‘just color’ again. I added the ‘Thanks a bunch!’ sentiment from Taylored Expressions. I thought it was the perfect pair.
