Finally Friday! It’s been a long one, folks. The first full week of school with all of the start-up activities and registration meetings that brings and my little detox project (that didn’t go 100% as planned), but I had a great run with my friend’s Kari and Krista this morning (a personal best time)! I also registered for the 5K race that I’ve been personally committed to since March. Life is good, and the weekend is here!
I had some beautiful, brand new Verve show up on Tuesday, and thought they would make a wonderful combo with Taylor’s Sketch today. These blooms are from the beautiful new set, Great Friend. The blooms come with both an outline and a silhouette version. {{LOVE}} I have been using chalk inks more and more lately, and I love the rich, opaque color. The blooms are stamped here on Shimmery Paper. Delicious!
I’m headed off to my mom’s this afternoon. I’m going to try to convince her to do a little shopping with me, and then tomorrow …. the Crafting Kitty, Miss Meowy and the MFT Lady. I’m signed up for both of their classes, and I can’t wait. Rumor is that sweet, sweet Miss Carole (my JiFFy friend) is blowing into town for a dinner date with us. I’m really looking forward to the chatting and laughter that’s sure to take place. 🙂
