Curtain Call

I’ve got plenty of organizing, laundry, cleaning, etc. to keep me busy this weekend, but I selfishly spent several hours at my stamp table this afternoon playing Virtual Stamp Night (VSN) challenges. I completed 6 cards! I can’t tell you the last time I created 6 cards in one setting. I’ll have to catch up on the other stuff tomorrow and Monday, but it was so worth it.

This card is probably my favorite from the day. The challenge was to create a curtain on your 45-minutes-or-less project.  I started with Singing Souls from Unity Stamp Company and Kraft cardstock. The microphone is colored with Copics (C1 and C5). I added a ‘curtain’ of striped ribbon and a awning made from the MFT Scallops Dienamics die. Here is the inside sentiment:

If you have a few minutes this weekend. Check out the VSN Challenges, you’ll find one or two that grab your attention. I promise.

Have a beautiful Sunday!

  3. Ok so I’m scrolling through Google Reader and seriously just before I got to your post I was thinking how I wished you lived close by so we could stamp together…or that you should at least plan a trip out here just to kick back and stamp at my desk for a few days…and then here’s your post with this awesome card! So creative and fun. LOVE it!
