I had to have this Lockhart stamp and sentiment when I first saw it a month or so ago…. wash • dry • fold • repeat … that’s my mantra. I don’t even need a put away tacked on there.
My image is stamped with Rich Cocoa Memento before coloring – since I tend to use warm colors, I use the brown a lot. In fact, you can use any of the Memento Inks with your Copic Markers. All of the colors set quickly for coloring. 🙂 The background image is from Unity and stamped in cream ink on Kraft. Patterned paper is Material Girl from Cosmo.
I’ll be putting this card in the mail today. Can you believe that? I’m actually going to mail a card! Call me crazy! I know my girlfriend will get a chuckle.
I thought I’d share one of the highlights of my Iowa weekend. This photo represents the longest friendship I have. I’ve known this girl since moving to Minnesota in first grade. I met her while she was pulling her little brother by our house in a red wagon. Turns out she lived 2 doors up. There is nothing more comfortable than being with someone who’s known you so long… She made a 6 1/2 hour round-trip drive last Friday to Des Moines to have dinner with Taylor, Jami and I. How fun!
I’ve moved a lot in my life, and even though our periods of communication have come and gone through the years, we’ve always known how to re-connect. (Her parents still live in the same house…it’s been quite easy!) Now, I’m grateful for Facebook. 🙂 Thank you for coming to see me, sweet friend. I’m looking forward to a little bit longer get together soon. Since I’ve introduced you to Miss Brighton, I’m positive those future visits will include shopping. <wink-wink> Love you!
