Divine Design 2009 & Coffee Giveaway

It’s time for Divine Design 2009. My beautiful friends, Angel Wilde,  Nancy Morgan and Taylor Van Bruggen will be posting again this year, and the talented Jami Bova will be joining us, as well.  It’s my hope that so many of you might join us this year. We’ve tried a little organization, but the challenge itself is a personal thing. Each month, we’ll be sharing scripture that has touched us that month for some reason or another.  We’ll be sharing a verse that we’d like to focus on memorizing and keeping close to heart. There are very few rules with this challenge:

  1. 1. Must have a Bible verse printed, stamped, hand-written or computer generated as a focus of your project.
  2. Upload with the scripture reference as your project title (i.e. John 1:14)
  3. Use the Bible Verse Challenge keyword: BVC09 (same keyword all year) when sharing at Splitcoast.  – While all kinds of inspirational messages, poems and quotes are appreciated, for the purpose of this challenge, please respect the scripture reference guideline. Do not use this keyword if you have not used a Biblical scripture on your project.
  4. No vendor restrictions.
  5. The goal will be to post our projects on the 9th of each month but you can post anytime that’s convenient for you.

Time got away from me this week, and I’ll be posting a Divine Design project a little later this weekend.  Even though, my project isn’t ready, I still have something to share:

I had the opportunity to work on a fun little ditty over at Splitcoast this week.  There are whole lotta girls at SCS who are pretty serious about their coffee. It seems that this Keurig Brew system is their coffee brewer of choice. It’ll make coffee house style coffee, hot cocoa or tea in 60 seconds flat, one cup at a time. You can read about the crazy Keurig Coffee drinkers HERE.  They’re so crazy (fun-crazy) that someway, somehow we came up with one of these machines to giveaway on the site. Click THIS LINK and fill out the short entry form.  Entries taken until Tuesday night! If you want to read about the machine and what some of the fuss is about, you can see it here at Amazon. Good luck!

I’ve got plans to shop with my mom tomorrow, a rare treat for me. We’re hitting Nordstroms, the Vera Bradley store, Coldwater Creek, Archivers, a furniture store to look at a potential piece of furniture for my stamp room and Chick-fil-A.  It’s gonna be a great day!
