Another fabulous Roxi Sketch this week! Get the 411 here! I used this gorgeous Apple Tree stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms, for my Autumn Harvest card. The main image is stamped on Shimmery White cardstock and watercolored with dye re-inkers. I wanted the leaves to shimmer, of course. So, I used VersaMark refill ink and the smallest paintbrush I own to paint over all of the yellow in the tree. I then dabbed over the VersaMark with Aztec Gold PearlX. Oh….shimmer!
The background is stamped in Cornish Heritage Farms’ Paisley Backgrounder. I used a trick from Nicole and ran a Chocolate marker around the very outside edge of the Pumpkin cardstock to give it a bit more depth. Love that!
I am going to Portland in a few weeks just to get some instruction on using my camera from my friend, Jenn. But, until then this was the best I could do on a shimmery close up:
Thanks for looking! Tomorrow is Beate’s Sketch Challenge…stay tuned, you’ll love it!
