Jami Swaps ROCK! She runs a tight ship on time frame, top quality goes without saying, and I love it when my return envie shows up in the mail box. This was a 4.25″ square pocket card that I made after seeing a sample on Michelle Wooderson’s blog. (She ROCKS, too!) The inside is a pocket, file folder of sorts. Seems like I am always sharing recipes with people, and figured this was a good way to do that. 🙂
I figured with Apple Cider paper, my Aunt Betty’s Apple Dumpling Cobbler would be fun to share. I typed it up in Word, printed it on cardstock and made it into an insert.

Here’s the recipe for anyone wanting to try it. Yummy!
Apple Dumpling CobblerÂ
Ingredients
1Â (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent rolls
2Â large Granny Smith apples, peeled and quartered
1 cup orange juice
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preparation
Unroll crescent rolls, and separate. Wrap each apple quarter with crescent roll dough, and place in a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish. Bring orange juice, 2/3 cup sugar, and butter to a boil in a saucepan. Pour over apple dumplings. Stir together 2 teaspoons sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon; sprinkle over dumplings.
Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Yield: 8 servings
Thanks for looking! I have another swap card to load tomorrow!
