Have I told you…

how I squealed when I saw this Boho West Line from SU!?

This is a 6×6 page that I created for the Stampin’ UP! Convention Display boards using Wanted. It was the perfect set for pictures that I have of the Kansas Livestock Show, old rodeo events and West Texas Ranching photos. I have lots of projects that I will share over the next few weeks….like a one a day vitamin, if you will. <grin>

I love the circular embellishment pieces in this set. They are so easy to punch out with our circle punches. My favorite thing to do with them was stamp in different colors, punch out the different rings, mix~match and layer. After the layering, I would emboss the circles with Ultra Thick Embossing Powder. I would layer the embossed circles on to the same image stamped on my project, in yet another color of ink.

In this sample, the circular accent is stamped onto the patterened paper in Chocolate Chip, onto Very Vanilla in Really Rust ink and onto Vanilla in Sage Shadow. The circles are all punched out, relayered and embossed to give a clear concho look.

The words are from a wonderful set called Handbill Headlines, now retired. The whole page is accented with natural hemp, hodgepodge hardware, chocolate grosgrain ribbon and paper piecing accents.

Thanks for looking, and check back tomorrow afternoon for a Friday night vitamin. <wink>
